Our Team

Larry Dickstein co-founded Securus America in 2007. As a national marketing organization for independent life and health agents, Securus’ semi-captive agency had distribution in 41 states and produced in excess of $30 million of paid premium in a single year. Mr. Dickstein earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from NYU College of Business and Public Administration in 1982 and completed post-graduate studies in computer science and information systems at Hofstra University in 1993. He co-founded 9th Wonder Financial in 2016 to provide more personalized service to local independent agents in the New York-New Jersey metropolitan area. There are over 100 agents in the growing 9th Wonder network.

Co-Founder and National Director of Sales. Award-winning agent. Manages agent training programs, agency/team development. Responsible for business planning and attainment of 9th Wonder performance goals and objectives.

Julio AlvarezCo-Founder

Award-winning agent. Responsibilities include recruiting and building 9th Wonder teams in the Newark/Central NJ region.

Errol EnglishNewark/Central NJ Sales Director

An accomplished senior healthcare executive with more than 35 years of experience, Terence Byrd has a distinguished track record as a results-driven leader in the health insurance industry. Now a high-level consultant to national and regional healthcare companies, Byrd previously served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Aetna Better Health, Kentucky, one of the largest Medicaid and Medicare health plans in the state. During his time as CEO, Byrd led the strategic, operational, and technological initiatives responsible for driving the company’s profitability and market expansion, also strengthening its alliances. He established a bold vision to build healthier communities, taking actions designed to improve the quality of patient care and address healthcare disparities in marginalized communities.
